How can I tell when my gas bottle is empty?

The easiest way to check is by looking at the tare disk, a small circular aluminium plate located at the top of your gas bottle around the outlet valve. This disk shows the tare weight, or the weight of the bottle when it’s completely empty. If you weigh your bottle and it’s heavier than the tare weight, that means there’s still gas inside.
